Advanced Dog Class

Legend Acres offers scientific based positive reinforcement trust centered dog training for your and your pet so your dog can become a better behaved community canine citizen. Legend Acres teaches you how to not only create a stronger bond with your pets but teach them life skills and how to behave in real life situations.

Advanced Dog Obedience Group Sessions are open to dogs ages 1 year and older and have passed the AKC CGC with a minimum of 3 DHLPP Vaccines, Bordatella (kennel cough) and Rabies. Proof of Vaccines is Required to participate.

Advanced Dog Obedience classes are designed to make dogs more fun to be around. What many of us don't know is that it has other, less obvious, benefits. Obedience training helps your dog see you as trust worthy to take direction also gives her a mental workout--something that many canines need just as much as physical exercise to stave off boredom and make them feel useful. These advanced classes are set up to simulate real life situations that you and your dog may encounter and how to navigate those situations.  Increasing your dogs ability to complete life tasks by increasing time, distance, and distraction.

Advanced Dog Obedience classes include basic obedience training, leash walking, real life situations, positive reinforcement of good behaviors, working with multiple dogs and socialization.

Attendance to all courses is recommended. After completion of the course your dog will be qualified to take the AKC Community Canine Good Citizen (CGCA) Test.

Classes will be 1 hour and held once a week for 6 weeks (with one makeup session) for a cost of $150 for group, $300 Semi-Private sessions, or $425 Private Sessions Payment Plans available.
