Golden Doodles of Surprise donates 2 Goldendoodles for placement with Veterans for Service Dog Training

Meet Lil Bit and Lacy F2B Goldendoodles from Golden Doodles of Surprise, who will go to two Veterans in need for Service Dog Training.


Legend's Heroes accepted Service Dog Scholarship applications for placement of these dogs from Nov 18th - 27th 2022 athttps://zcu.io/d0EJ 


Angela Walser of Golden Doodles of Surprise contacted Legend’s heroes, donating two puppies to be placed with veterans for service dog training.  We were happy to accept her generous donation of Lil Bit and Lacy. 

At Legend Acres we reached out to our network to find candidates for selection for puppy placement.  After review of the applications selection was narrowed down to two candidates who underwent an interview process and final approval. 

Out of the candidates that we received we are happy to announce Larissa and Lyle as the Puppy recipients.  The puppies are scheduled for pick up on Saturday December 3rd,   where Larissa and Lyle get to meet their puppies and take them home for the first time. The two pairs are going to spend several weeks bonding with their puppies prior to starting with their service dog training classes in January 2023.


We want to thank everyone who shared our posts and everyone who applied for placement. It was a wonderful experience reviewing applications and interviewing candidates.  We want to give a big thank you to ABC 12 News who featured us and the puppies for placement on Turkey Tuesday and to Angela for her generous donation that will go on to serve the veterans who received them for years to come.
