Voting is open daily through April 30, allowing supporters to vote once per category per day and help determine which programs advance and gain regional recognition.
Legend Acres provides force-free, fear-free dog training in Surprise, Peoria, and throughout Maricopa County. Programs include family dog training, therapy dog preparation, service dog training pathways for veterans, and equine-assisted programs through Riding With Honor. These structured pathways help dogs and handlers build confidence, engagement, and real-world reliability using science-based training methods.
Legend’s Pet Partners Community focuses on therapy animal teams that serve hospitals, schools, veterans, and community programs. Legend’s Heroes supports service dog training and scholarship access for veterans, helping reduce financial barriers to life-changing support dogs. Riding With Honor extends that mission into equine-assisted programs for veterans, active duty military, and their families.
Voting daily supports the expansion of these programs and increases access to training, therapy teams, and community services across Arizona. Consistent participation is the key factor in advancing through the Best of the Valley voting process.

Founder of Legend Acres Dog & Horse Solutions and Legend Acres Charities, Kristi brings more than 15 years of experience in force-free, fear-free training. A veteran and lifelong animal advocate, Kristi has built Legend Acres into a nationally recognized leader in affordable, accessible training for dogs, horses, service and therapy teams.
Her mission is simple yet powerful: to provide science-based, compassionate training that empowers people and their animals to thrive together.
