Program Overview
The "Riding with Honor" program provides:
- 4 discounted introductory riding sessions each month
- Incentivized package discounts for continued lessons
- Horsemanship and groundwork training
- Equine-assisted therapy opportunities
- Access to certified instructors and a CHA-certified program
Available for ages 3+, with tack and helmets provided.
Location: Wittmann, AZ (231st & Patton) — Arena, turnout, wash rack, and dirt road access.

Membership in Horses4Heroes shows your support of our mission and vision to create and deliver affordable programs with horses for local heroes and their families. We offer a FREE Lifetime Membership for:
Active Duty Service Members
Veterans
First Responders
Healthcare Workers
Teachers (classroom and homeschool)
Foster Parents
Spouses and immediate family members are included in this membership. As a member, you'll always receive the lowest rate for services, and we often offer exclusive freebies just for you!
This membership is specifically for Arizona residents who want to participate in programs at Legend Acres.
Not a hero? You can still support our mission by joining as a FRIEND — also a LIFETIME membership. Join once and you’re part of our organization.

FAQ
Q: Do I need prior riding experience?
A: Not at all! This program is open to all levels.
Q: What should I wear?
A: Comfortable pants (Athletic Pants preferred) and closed-toe shoes or boots are required.
Q: Is this therapy or recreational?
A: It can be both. Sessions are tailored to individual goals: physical therapy, emotional support, or recreational.
Q: Do I need to bring my own gear?
A: We provide tack and helmets. You just bring yourself and your readiness to ride!
Q: Can I support the program if I’m not a participant?
A: Absolutely. You can donate through Zeffy or support the Legend Heroes Scholarship Fund.

Scholarships available upon request through the Legend Acres Charities Legend's Heroes Scholarship Fund
To access Riding with Honor program benefits at Legend Acres — including discounted sessions, scholarship eligibility, and sponsorship participation — all donors, sponsors, and program participants are required to have an active Horses4Heroes membership on file.
